Brisbane Powerhouse’s neighbourhood notice lists Brisbane Writers Festival for 8–11 October 2026, with more than 100 events.
The venue expects increased traffic and full carparks during the festival. It says vehicle access to Lamington Street may be reduced when parking reaches capacity.
Choose your sessions and check tickets with the organiser. Allow extra travel time, and consult the venue’s latest neighbourhood notice before heading to nearby New Farm.
